Week 31

Every Friday, the number of weeks lessen.  As of 1/19/2010, I am on week 31 which means I have 9 weeks to go until my baby is expected to enter this world.  9 little weeks........the emotions I am feeling at this time are unbelievable.  I am so excited, I am so scared, I am nervous and anxious too!  Being a mom will be the biggest and most important job I've ever had along with being the hardest, but I have never been more ready to take on this task.  I had an ultrasound done yesterday, and she weighed 4lbs and 5 oz and she's still measuring a week ahead of me.  When I see her on the screen, I just want to grab her off of there and kiss those precious chubby cheeks she already has.  Brandon is very excited as well!  He loves to feel her move around and all he can manage to talk about is her arriving into the world.  We are going to take a Lamaze Class on February 19, 2011.  That should be interesting, haha.  I will definately post back and let you know how that one goes!!

Week 30

Time has flown since the day I found out I was pregnant!  I can hardly believe that I am 30 weeks pregnant and only have 10 weeks to go.  When I look at my stomach, I am amazed because an actual human being is developing inside.  She has been so active and such a joy to feel move around and I think that is what I am going to miss the most once she's here.  Ofcourse though, I will be even more excited because I can actually hold her once she's here. At 30 weeks, she weighed 3.3 lbs and measured a week ahead of me.  I could deliver a big baby girl which scares the crap out of me, but as long as she's healthy, Im okay with it!

3D/4D Ultrasound Pictures

We decided to pay the extra fee to have the 3D/4D pictures made of our baby girl.  It was such a wonderful experience and it is AMAZING what technology can do these days!  Here are some of the pictures that were taken:

Week 29 Appt

On Dec. 29th, 2010..we had our 29 week check-up along with the Glucose Test.  YUCK!  I heard many horror stories and prayed that I passed the test so I wouldn't have to come back for the 3-hour test they give you if it comes back positive.  Today they let you take the drink home and drink it before you come to the appt.  With our 45 minute ride, I had plenty of time to drink it.  You have to drink it 30-45 minutes before your scheduled appt and you get 5 minutes to drink the drink.  I definately suggest to use a straw!  I chose the Lemon-Lime flavored drink and it was actually rather tasty.  I never felt bad after I drank it like I heard some people do, it just gave me a slight headache because I was so hungry.  I got my blood drawn shortly after and the test came back negative so that meant we didn't have to come back!  YAY!! :)

Baby Shower Invitation

I have been so blessed to have amazing family and friends who want to give me a baby shower for Brayleigh.  I know my mom and Brandon's mom have worked so hard on organizing the shower and I want to thank them in advance because Im sure, whatever they have planned will be wonderful.  My mom made the invitations and minus a couple errors on the original invitation that went out, they were still beautiful and it's the thought that mattered in the first place.  Here's a copy of the invitation so you all can check out how great of a job my mom did!!

Christmas Pictures

For Christmas this year, I had some maternity pictures taken by a good friend of mine who is Blaire Cooke.  She always does such a great job with photography and Im blessed that she's my friend as well.  I love to try and be creative with gifts at Christmas time, so I decided to have these pictures taken and give one to Brandon from Brayleigh.  He loved it and it's in a beautiful frame beside the bed!
This one in the pink is my favorite though, I hope to get this one blown up and put in a frame to hang on the wall of her nursery.
